Anthony Hardin, called “Antney” in his North Carolina hometown, is an independent songwriter, singer, storyteller, and author.  As an independent artist, his diverse “message music” spans the genres of spiritual, blues, R&B, country, and rock.  

After a career in the U.S. Air Force and private sector, Anthony decided to pursue his passion for writing and singing “message music”.  His past military travels, and his experience as a storyteller, allow him to share the interesting and entertaining backgrounds of his songs during live performances.  He believes people are connected by similar hopes, heartaches, and dreams, no matter where they are in the world.  His goal is to strengthen these connections through music.   

Anthony enjoys sharing his music with people who enjoy “message music”, while also maintaining control of the ownership of his music.  His independent status allows him to offer his music directly to the public without specifying  a genre or seeking permission from the traditional music establishment and streaming platforms.  Anthony's “message music” is exclusively authorized for streaming and sale on anthonyhardinmusic.com.

“Imperfectly Yours”: An Afternoon with Special Guests and Anthony Hardin, is the latest series of live performances. The afternoon performances (3:30PM to 5:30PM) are based on Anthony's latest album “Imperfectly Yours”, and some of his past releases with special guests.  The "Imperfectly Yours“ Album  is a musically eclectic look at the joy, pain, and joy again of love, highlighting the difficult decisions made more often with the heart instead of the mind.
